The vertical-type shot blasting machine is designed for high-performance cleaning of steel beams, I-beams, channels, structural sections, and other long metal workpieces from rust, scale, corrosion products, and process contaminants. During processing, the workpiece passes through the blast chamber in a vertical position, where its surface is treated by high-velocity streams of steel shot from several shot blasting turbines. The arrangement of the blast wheels ensures uniform cleaning of the main surfaces, flanges, and webs of structural profiles. The abrasive collection, separation, and recirculation system provides closed-loop shot circulation, reducing abrasive consumption and maintaining stable blasting quality. The equipment is used for surface preparation of beams and structural steel before painting, application of protective coatings, welding, and other subsequent technological operations.
